Terms of Sale  (including return and exchange policy)

We want all our customers to be 100% happy with their purchases and buy with confidence. 

Our Guarantee:  We take pride in what we sell - You will only find the very best quality items in our product range - many of which we personally test to ensure we buy the best we can. Every care is taken to describe each item accurately and picture it as clearly as possible.  Computer monitors can represent colours differently so the screen colour should be taken as an approximation only.  If you are unsatisfied with any item purchased from us we will do everything we can to deal with the matter to your satisfaction. Note - for reasons of hygiene self adhesive bra products are excluded from our returns policy. Items made to measure are non returnable.

Despatch:  We make every effort to despatch your order the day after payment is processed. In the case of cheque payments the payment must clear through our bank account.  At busy times we may not be able to despatch immediately but will inform you of any delays.  We will inform you via email once your parcel has been despatched, and you should inform us if you do not receive your item within 5 days of this despatch note.

Please be aware that once items have left our premises we are in the hands of the courier service as  regards delivery - we will do everything in our power to ensure your delivery reaches you in time but on rare occasions delays do occur for which we cannot be held accountable.  If you have a particularly urgent requirement we recommend you speak to us by phone first to discuss options.

Returns Policy:  Should you wish to return an item purchased from Red Carpet:

RETURNS WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A RETURNS NUMBER OBTAINED FROM US AND DISPLAYED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PARCEL.  The returns number procedure helps us both - please do not return an item without one as it will delay any refund and could mean your return is refused. 

You should satisfy yourself that you wish to keep the gown before removing tags or disposing of any packaging including hanger, tissue, poly bag wrapping and box.

1. Please email us of your intention to return an item. Items will only be accepted for return strictly within 5 days of date of receipt (the date you signed for the parcel) and in new condition with all tags attached in the original packaging. Self adhesive bra products and other intimate products cannot be returned.  We will issue you with a returns number which must be displayed clearly on the outside of the parcel.

2. Return the item to us packing carefully  - we recommend using an insured and trackable service such as Royal Mail special delivery or other courier as we cannot be responsible for goods lost in transit to us. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item/s to us.

3. Upon return of the garment in new condition we will refund the purchase price via the initial payment method (card, cheque etc) less the initial carriage charge.  Should you wish to exchange for another size, one size exchange will be allowed free of additional carriage charge (full price items only).  For sale item exchanges, we reserve the right to charge carriage for the replacement item.  If the exchange item is subsequently returned, we reserve the right to make a charge for carriage.

4. Items returned in an un-saleable condition - eg with tags missing, cover or packet missing, make up stains, alterations, signs of wear, damage, smelling of smoke, perfume, body odour or any other odor not associated with a new garment etc or returned outside of five working days  will be returned to the sender and no refund will be issued. If we need to steam press an item due to poor packaging a charge of £10 will be deducted from the refund.  Please do not embarrass us or yourself by returning a dress which has been worn - we are not a free hire service! 

5. Returns are not accepted on items purchased in person from the Red Carpet warehouse showroom as you will have been given the opportunity to try on and inspect the garment before purchase.
